Who runs this guide
A small team at Green Wire Media (GWM), a company in Riga, Latvia. We also own TransferBnB, the transfer marketplace the offer buttons on this site lead to.
Why it exists
Most pages about getting from Geneva Airport to Chamonix are written by one transfer company, or by a site paid per booking that does not say so. We wanted one page set that lays out every way up the valley, including the train and the coaches that earn us nothing, and says plainly when a transfer is worth paying for and when it is not.
How it pays for itself
When you ask for transfer offers, the request goes to TransferBnB, where independent local carriers send you their prices. If you book one, TransferBnB earns from that booking. No operator pays to be mentioned here. The only commercial links on the site are the ones to TransferBnB, and each page says so beside them.
What we will not do
- Pretend to be a transfer company. We own no vehicles and employ no drivers.
- Print ratings or quotes from travellers. We have no honest way to collect them for a guide.
- Quote a fixed transfer price. Prices on this site are what operators publish themselves, named and dated.
If something is wrong
Timetables change every December and prices every season. If a time, price or rule here is out of date, email hello@genevatochamonixtransfer.com with the page and what you found, and we will correct it and change the date on that page.
